The Hotel Orquidea is owned by Town Hotels and our registered address is 69 – 71 Rua dos Netos, 9000-084, Funchal, Madeira - Portugal. For the purpose and interpretation of the terms and conditions of the Hotel Orquidea Website all website users making reservations on Hotel Orquidea will hereinafter be known as “the customer” When using our website the following terms and conditions shall apply the customer.

Reservation Terms and Conditions

All online reservation services made available on this website are done so by Hotel Orquidea. Hotel Orquidea agrees to provide the customer with the facilities to enable the customer to reserve accommodation / room listed on Hotel Orquidea. Use of these reservation facilities are subject to an agreement from Hotel Orquidea and is subject to the following terms and conditions.

• a) It is the customers’ responsibility to fully acquaint yourself with the terms and conditions of this website prior to completing any reservation on this website.
• b) Full payment is required to secure your reservation. The amounts are debited from your credit card by Hotel Orquidea are non-refundable.
• c) Hotel Orquidea reserves the right to refuse a reservation made by the customer in the event that the payment and personal details entered by the customer do not meet the legal requirements for online payment transactions
• d) It is the responsibility of the customer to inform The Hotel Orquidea of any change in reservation details. This includes change in date and arrival time, change in date and departure time or cancellation.
• e) The laws governing the provision of these facilities shall be the laws of Portugal

• No Payment is charged via our website. Your credit card details are used to guarantee the reservation
• All reservations require a non refundable deposit of 50% of total booking fee. The Hotel Orquidea will contact by phone you prior to charging this value.
• The amount that will be charged to your credit card is displayed on the booking form, before making your reservation.
• In case of cancellation no fees will be charged unless the reservation is cancelled later than 48 hours prior to the arrival date.
• We only accept credit card payments via our website and over the phone.
• We accept all major credit cards at the hotel - Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners, Maestro
• If  you do not have a credit card you can still make a reservation. Payment can be made via bank transfer however you will need to contact us by phone to do so. The same payment conditions stipulated above will apply.

Customer Agreement

The customer agrees and understands that Hotel Orquidea only provides the customer with the facilities to enable the customer to reserve accommodation / rooms at the Hotel Orquidea, and does not at any time act as a travel agent or tour operator of any kind.

The customer agrees and understands that making a reservation on Hotel Orquidea in no way implies that Hotel Orquidea acts as an insurer or insures the customer against any loss, damage, or personal injury.

The customer agrees to indemnify, defend, protect, and hold harmless the Hotel Orquidea, and all of its employees against all losses, expenses, damage, personal injury and liabilities resulting from, arising out of, or in any way connected with the use of the website by the customer.

Nothing contained on this website may be duplicated with the expressed permission of Hotel Orquidea. This includes the text, graphics, button icons, audio and video clips, digital downloads, programming code, SQL data (including schemas, tables, stored procedures, objects), data compilations and software, may not be copied, reproduced. You may however download and print all items on this website permitting printable version of itself.
